A Vintage New Year’s Eve

Ladies and Gentlemen, a very Happy New Year!

We hope you spent your New Year’s Eve celebrating in style, we certainly did! This year the Orchestra headlined The Southbank Centre’s Vintage New Year’s Eve event. With 3,500 guests, over 3 floors and a host bands and entertainers, it was a fantastic night, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the Thames, after which we played a set of our wildest, most swinging tunes for the elated guests.

The main room was our theatre; the drinks, gourmet food, dancing and vintage glamour were flowing generously, set to the soundtrack we so carefully provided. It was a fantastic opportunity to present ourselves to an appreciative new audience. We had them dancing all night until the early hours, and had the venue stayed open longer, we would have kept them partying into the morning!

Now we’ve had time, we’ve reflected on everything we experienced in 2014. It was a big year for the Orchestra, with a new sound, new album and a lot of new opportunities found and new relationships made. Thank you to all of those who have shared our journey and made 2014 such a great year. We hope to see you in 2015 for even more fun, and let it be bigger and better year than the last!
